Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Technically she's an alien, so it might not work as well, and she'll be mad if she figures it out

Warnings: Kara is Kryptonian in origin, and like her cousin Superman, she absorbs light from Earth's yellow sun to become stronger. That said, she was much older than Kal-El when he was sent off, but her ship got sidetracked and by the time she arrived on Earth, Kal-El was an adult, and had already become Superman. Since Kara Zor-El's purpose in being sent to Earth was to act as her little cousin's guardian, she's still trying to find a place for herself on Earth. She's only recently taken up the mantle of Supergirl and is winging it. Sometimes it goes better than other times.
